When Superintendent of Police Nayana entered her office she least expected Attiprakkal Jimmy and his followers Mathen and Joshy sitting there. Actually she was enquiring about them. In fact from the very moment she took charge as S P at Kottayam she had been hearing about Jimmy. It was a while ago she has sent words to Jimmy to present himself before her in the office in connection of a complaint from a minister.
Jimmy is the district secretary of the youth wing of Keraladesam congress party. He is the leader of the group who defends the agitation against Volga bar. A political Wrestler, he is known as a confidant of minister Mr. Kora the leader of one group of Keraladesam. Mr. Kora had declared the main constituency in the district and this place is earmarked for Jimmy in the next elections. Immediately on hearing this Jimmy's friends and followers had already treat him as MLA.
Every body knows that if Jimmy wants something he would achiev it by any means. Minister Poulose the leader of the rival faction in Keraladesam wanted the Volga bar to be removed from the present premises. Jimmy had torpedoed all the plans of Poulose group hitherto. It was at this juncture SP Nayana IAS took charge in town. Jimmy has become a headache for her.
The latest incident had put more pressure on Nayana IPS for Jimmy had succeeded in preventing a public speech by minister Poulose. She had summoned him to her office. But she was doubtful of his coming. She found her officers and subordinates friendly with Jimmy in a special way. She realized that Jimmy has tremendous influence in her office. She became furious seeing this and could not conceal anger. She advanced towards Jimmy and shouted, " Get out of my office"
"Okay, Okay", Jimmy, said but Nayana IPS was not ready to cool down. Jimmy started spreading all over the place with his outpourings. " Hey girl, IPS girl, this is not your Delhi, or Patiala. This is Kottayam. Kottayam consisting of Meenachil, Pala, Changanassery, Kanjirappally. Nobody rules here. No democracy would run this place. A few workers of Keraladesam would do that understand?"
" Remember you wont go from here in one beautiful piece". We know that you have come here on instructions to put the followers of minister Kora in jail. We know you are going to create problems for us by proclaiming there is a chapel near the Volga bar and that the bar will have to be closed. No, no way. And your Poulose minister is not going to make his speech tomorrow near the bar. Understand? That will be his end if he steps out of his car".
The lengthy dialogue went on for a full five minutes and the take was over in one go. This was the inaugural shot of the film Chathurangam directed by K Madhu, who along with Mohanlal had earlier brought out a number of super hits. Madhu is once again anchoring on his resources before the Mohanlal magic in such films erodes.
Madhu is bringing Nagma as Nayana IPS opposite Mohanlal who is handling the role of Jimmy. Jagadeesh and Anu Anand presented Mathen and Joshy. Navya Nair plays an important role in Chathurangam.
