Mohanlal in Hollywood movie: Billion Dollar Raja
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is all set to play US billionaire Raj Rajaratnam, in Billion Dollar Raja, written and directed by Nayan Padrai and produced by Sheetal Vyas.
The story is based on the life of controversial Tamil American former fund manager and billionaire founder of the Galleon Group, a New York based hedge fund management firm. He was arrested in 2009 by FBI on allegations of insider trading and was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
Nayan Padrai is an award winning filmmaker, who has earlier made the feature film When Harry tries to marry (2011).
