The film would be scripted by director Ranjith's brother Rajiv. Almost all the actors in the original film would appear in the sequel as well. Since Pappu who played a major role in the original film is no more, Suraj Venjarammoodu would take over as his son in the sequel.
The hero and the heroine of the film are yet to be finalized.
The hit songs that were penned by Mankombu Gopalakrishnan and tuned by Kannur Rajan would be remixed for the sequel.
The sequel would in most probability have the same name as its predecessor. Discussions regarding the film are currently going on.
